The painting hanging in Augsburg Cathedral was used as a test object for our lighting techniques and camera adaptions. Above is the image as viewed and imaged in standard colour balanced lighting.
Das Altarbild im westlichen Seitenschiff diente
als Testobjekt für die Dokumentation von Kunstwerken mit unterschiedlicher Beleuchtung und
Aufnahmetechnik. Die Aufnahme oben zeigt
die Aufnahme im Tageslicht mit Blitzbeleuchtung.
The use of a powerful studio flash system by Broncolor and their UV adapted head used on the above painting has many advantages over the standard lighting technique. Here you can clearly see the retouching work carried out on a previous restoration.
UV- Fluoreszenz Aufnahme
Aufgrund der
lichtstarken Beleuchtung mit dem Broncolor™ Blitzsystem mit UV Adapter ist es
möglich auch bei Tageslicht die Retuschen
einer früheren Restaurierung zu verdeutlichen.
This painting also gave us the opportunity to use our newly adapted InfraRed camera. The IR filter placed at chip level has a spectral sensitivity of 830nm and has proven effective in viewing the underdrawing on this oil-based painting.
Infrarot IR- Reflektografie
Das Tafelbild eignete sich ebenfalls gut um mit
unserer neuen IR- adaptierten Kamera die Unterzeichnung sichtbar zu machen. Der
IR Filter im nahen Infrarot (830nm) ist direkt vor den Kamera Chip fest installiert.
